Memorial Ashes Jewellery
A Piece to Keep Close
Our Memorial Ashes Jewellery collection has been created to offer a beautiful and personal way to keep someone special close to you.
The idea for the collection came from our own experience of loss and the wish to create something meaningful that could be worn every day, a small reminder of someone you love, kept close to your heart.
Over the years, Celina has carefully developed and refined the process behind the collection, taking the time to perfect each stage and create jewellery that is not only beautiful, but made with the care and respect that something so precious deserves.
Every piece is individually handmade by Celina and her small team here in Orkney. No two pieces will ever be exactly the same. The ashes, colours and finishes within each design create their own subtle differences, meaning your finished piece is completely individual and unique to you and the person or pet it represents.
Our memorial jewellery can be created using both human and pet ashes, allowing you to create a lasting keepsake in memory of someone incredibly special, whether they had two legs or four.
How It Works
We've tried to make the whole process as simple, personal and reassuring as possible, from choosing your jewellery to having your finished piece safely returned home to you.
Choose & Order Online
All of our memorial jewellery designs, colours, finishes and additional options are available to view and purchase directly through our website.
Once you've chosen your jewellery and placed your order, we'll send a Collection Pack straight to your door containing everything you need to safely send a small amount of ashes back to us.
Inside your Collection Pack, you'll find a section to fill in your name, contact details and return address. This stays with your ashes throughout the process, allowing us to easily identify your order and ensuring your finished jewellery and remaining ashes can be returned directly to the correct person.
You'll also receive a secure zip seal ashes bag and small scoop, with a dedicated space within the pack to safely hold the bag before everything is placed inside the return parcel provided.
We only need a very small amount of ashes to create your jewellery, a little really does go a long way.
Not Quite Sure What You'd Like?
We understand that choosing something so personal isn't always a decision you want to make straight away.
If you'd prefer to take your time, we also have a Memorial Jewellery Catalogue & Ordering Pack available to order and have delivered to your door.
The catalogue lets you sit down and look through all of our jewellery designs, colours, finishes and options at your own pace. You can keep it for a little while, compare your favourites and easily show it to family or friends if you'd like their help choosing the perfect piece.
The catalogue also contains your Collection Pack, secure ashes bag and scoop, along with sections where you can tick the jewellery, colours, finishes and additional options you would like.
There's space to fill in all of your contact and return details, and a full price list at the back of the catalogue, so you know exactly what each piece and option will cost before sending anything to us.
Once you've made your choices, simply complete the booklet, add the small amount of ashes required using the bag and scoop provided and return the pack to us.
Safe With Us
We completely understand that sending something as precious as your loved one's ashes away can feel like a very big step.
As soon as your ashes arrive safely with us here in Orkney, we'll contact you to let you know that we've received them.
If you've chosen your jewellery using our catalogue rather than purchasing directly through our website, we'll also send you a secure payment link at this point for the total cost of your chosen piece and any additional options. The price list in your catalogue means you'll already know what your order will cost before returning it to us.
There's no need to write down or send us any card details through the post.
Once payment has been received, your jewellery will be ready to begin its journey through our workshop.
Carefully Created in Orkney
Your loved one's ashes are carefully placed by hand within our resin enamel, becoming a permanent part of your jewellery.
Each layer is individually applied before the resin enamel is hardened using UV light. This creates the beautiful, durable finish within your piece while using a more energy efficient curing process.
Every piece is individually created by Celina and her team in our Orkney workshop. Your ashes remain carefully identified throughout the process and are treated with the care and respect we would expect for our own loved ones.
The nature of working by hand with resin enamel, colour and ashes means that no two finished pieces can ever be exactly the same. The small variations are part of what makes your jewellery so special. It has been created individually for you and holds something that simply cannot be replicated.
Making Your Jewellery
As each piece is individually handmade, please allow up to 14 days for your jewellery to be created before it leaves our workshop.
Something this meaningful should never be rushed, so we take the time needed to carefully create and finish each piece. If for any reason we expect your jewellery to take longer than 14 days, we'll get in touch and keep you updated.
Once your jewellery is complete, it will be beautifully packaged and sent directly to the return address you provided in your Collection Pack.
Most importantly, all of your remaining ashes will be safely packaged and returned to you alongside your finished jewellery, bringing everything home together.
Human & Pet Memorial Jewellery
Our collection can be created using both human and pet ashes.
We know that losing a much loved pet can be every bit as heartbreaking, which is why we've made sure our collection offers options specifically suited to remembering our four legged companions, including our paw print designs.
For pet memorials, our Memorial Jewellery Catalogues and Collection Packs are available directly from us and will also be available from OBAC in St Margaret's Hope, making it easier to begin the process when arranging your pet's cremation.
Whether your piece is created in memory of a family member, friend or beloved pet, the care that goes into it remains exactly the same.
Our aim is simple: to create something beautiful, personal and completely unique that allows you to carry a little piece of someone you love with you, wherever you go.
