What is the jewellery made from?

Celina designs and makes all the master patterns of her jewellery. Molds are then made of each master pattern from which each piece is cast. All the jewellery is made from solid silver, or can be made in gold or any other metal to order. Semi-precious gemstones are also incorporated into many of her pieces.

Do you create bespoke pieces? If so, how long do these take to make?

Yes, we do. We make wedding rings and engagement rings to fit, plus any other bespoke pieces of jewellery a customer might desire.

The lead time for custom-made jewellery varies depending on individual requirements. A bespoke piece could take anything from three weeks to three months, so the best thing to do is to contact us direct to discuss what you’re after and we can confirm timings and costs.

Do you offer gift wrapping?

No, as we feel this isn’t in-keeping with our mission to be as sustainable as possible. But, every item is beautifully boxed in eco-friendly, biodegradable packaging and finished with a gorgeous ribbon. This is provided as standard with all orders at no extra cost.

Do you sell gift cards?

Yes. You can order a gift card online or pick one up in our store in Orkney. Gift cards are valid for 12 months from the date of purchase and can be used online or in-store.

How do I measure for a ring?

The most accurate way to measure for a ring is to order a ring sizer direct from us. This gives you the chance to accurately measure your ring size from the comfort of your own home and then order a ring that will fit you perfectly. Ring sizers are available to order online, priced £3.85, including postage.

How should I care for my jewellery?

There are a few simple things you can do to take care of your Celina Rupp Jewellery:

  • Avoid wearing neck wires to bed as this can cause irreparable damage.
  • When your jewellery isn’t being worn, place it in a zip seal bag to prevent tarnishing of the silver, which can happen when it is exposed to the air and its pollutants.
  • Try to avoid contact with perfume, moisturisers and sun cream, as some chemicals can react with silver.

What should I do if I'm unsatisfied with my purchase?

If for any reason, you are unhappy with your product, you can return the unused item within 30 days for a refund or exchange.

We cannot provide a refund or replace any items made specifically to order, including commissioned items and all items made in gold, as they are crafted to order and are considered as specials.

If you have a query about an item, feel free to contact us. We’re always happy to help.

Do you repair damaged jewellery?

Yes, we do. If you damage a piece of jewellery within a year of purchase you can post it to us and we will repair and send it back to you. You just need to cover the postage costs. If the item was bought over a year ago, we can still fix it but there’ll be a charge for the repair and postage.

If you’re unsure whether your item is worth repairing or not, the easiest thing to do is to give us a quick ring on 01856 781770 and we can have a quick chat.

Do you provide a warranty for your pieces?

All Celina Rupp Jewellery comes with a one-year warranty and faulty items will be replaced. This does not extend to accidental damage or everyday wear and tear.

Can I order a gift for a friend or loved one and have it delivered direct to their address?

Yes, of course. Just be sure to select a different shipping address at checkout. You can also include a personalised gift note with your purchase, which we will handwrite and send with your gift.
