Kelp Collection

Kelp is a type of seaweed which is in abundance all around the Orkney islands. In days long gone the burning of Kelp was a common sight. It was then transported South as a highly sought after commodity. Celina drew inspiration for this collection from the Kelp which is cast up on the shore, it’s shape and fluid form is easily distinguishable within these pieces.
